We value your privacy, and are committed to safeguarding the privacy of Users to the highest possible extent.

This Privacy Policy governs the Information provided by Users (“User Information”) on the App.

This Policy sets out the manner and purposes of collection, use and disclosure of User Information and the extent of its security.

This Policy is governed by the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology Rules, 2011, and amendments to these till date.

 

III.       CREATION OF ACCOUNTS ON THE APP       

Users are required to create a Profile/Account on the App by providing your Personal Information like names, contact numbers, email ids, dates of birth and gender, and demographic information.

 

We also collect Information in relation to your vehicle preferences.

 

Users agree and acknowledge that the Information detailed above will be preserved on the App until the accomplishment of Services.

 

You also agree and acknowledge that we are not bound to delete Information from the App immediately on the said accomplishment. Delay may be caused due to technical and other unforeseen reasons.

 

Users undertake to assume full responsibility for the safety of your accounts and passwords. You shall ensure that the same are not used in an unauthorized manner by any third party.

 

 

IV.       MANNER OF COLLECTION OF USER INFORMATION

 

We obtain User Information from Users online during your registration on the App.

 

 

V.        PURPOSES OF COLLECTION OF USER INFORMATION

 

We utilize User Information for the following purposes:

 

(i)                 Enhancing User experience;

(ii)               effectual Communication with Users;

(iii)             enable Users to view trip history, rate trips, and to determine the features we need to focus on for improving the quality of Services;

(iv)             notifications to Users of new offers;

(v)               Process payments;

(vi)             Adherence to legal requisites

 

VI.       CONSENT OF USERS

 

Users hereby accord your consent for the collection, storage, use, and disclosure of Personal Information and/or Sensitive Personal Data by us for the purposes stated in this Policy.

Users agree and acknowledge that the said Information is essential to enable smooth functioning of the Services provided through the App.

 

VII.     ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

Users warrant with us that the User Information provided is genuine, accurate, complete, reliable and updated.

 

VIII.    UPDATION OF INFORMATION

Users are at liberty to rectify, update or delete User Information while access to your accounts.

 

IX.       DIVULGENCE OF USER INFORMATION

 

Users agree and acknowledge that our business associates may have access to User Information as a part of operation of business.

 

Users also agree and acknowledge that our members will have a restricted access to User Information for the purpose of performing their duties.

 

User Information is shared with our employees on a need-to-know basis. They will have a restricted access to the same.

 

Users further agree and acknowledge that we provide access to User Information to third party service providers who enable and smoothen use of the App.

 

Users further agree and acknowledge that we may share User Information with third parties for purposes like undertaking market research/ study, conducting data analysis, determining and customizing the Services, and improving the Services.

Users further agree and acknowledge that we may share the details of your trips with the owner of the profile in the event you use an account associated with her/him.

 

 

X.        LINKS TO THIRD PARY SITES

 

If you click on one of the links to third party websites on the App, you may be taken to websites we do not control. This Policy does not apply to the privacy practices of those websites. We are not responsible for these third-party sites.

 

Users also agree and acknowledge that we hold no liability for misappropriation of User Information on these links.

 

 

XI.       OUR COVENANTS WITH USERS

 

(i)                 We covenant with Users that all physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards are taken to protect privacy of User Information.

(ii)               We also covenant with Users that User Information shall be used only for the purposes stated in this Policy.

(iii)             We do not sell or trade User Information.

(iv)             We protect User Information from unauthorized access and use even if you cease access of the App immediately due to unforeseen reasons.

 

XII.     PRIVACY OF INFORMATION

We adopt all plausible measures to ensure the protection of User Information from loss, duplication, and use for unauthorised purposes and unwarranted disclosure. These include physical, technical and procedural safeguards. However, we shall not be responsible for infringement of privacy as a result of incidents that are beyond our control like hacking, government regulations and low quality of devices of Users.

We disclose User Information to Government officials to detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.

 

XIII.    ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Users assume the responsibility and risk for use of the App. User Information may be disclosed in manners not specified in this Policy inadvertently, and Users acknowledge the same. We shall not be held liable for such inadvertent disclosure.

Users agree and acknowledge that this Policy does not cover User Information collected by the drivers of vehicles.

 

XIV.    STORAGE OF INFORMATION

We store User Information so long as it is necessary for the purposes stated in this Policy. We may, however, retain Information for a longer period if so required by any legal compliance.

 

XV.     COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS

We follow all industry standards, and warrant adherence to all applicable laws for protection of privacy. However, none of these measures guarantee the highest security, which fact is acknowledged by Users.
